Thing I need to figure out:

-Time/assembly line problem
-skill levels and how those would translate to IC skills
-what is and isn't possible in Asgard

Time
Time is vague in SO3, you just get a meter and wait for it to run down and might or might not get the item if the skill levels are high enough. I'll need to figure out exactly how long each individual item would take Fayt to make, and how much quick or slower potential aid would make things.

I dunno how long smithery would take. Compounding would take as long as it took to either A. mix ingredients or B. make ingredients. Sometimes drying or letting things sit for a while would be required, and that can take a good few days or even weeks, though this is based on research done for other things.

Honestly, speaking, it takes a team of three to make a lot of things in the game. Fayt's going to take a lot longer to make some of the more complex items on his own (or we can speed that up possibly, with Albel's help, or even fellow travelers if I can ICly arrange something).

I'd like to see what Fayt could potentially do once runes are introduced-- they're enough like Symbological symbols in theory that he could likely inscribe them to some of the weapons made. Taking a Searing Sword to a Frost Giant, anyone?

Skill levels

So we can make some decent guesswork at Fayt's skills based on two things: His background/education that is mentioned in the game, and his skill levels listed in the game. Now,

I can say that A. his cooking skills are half decent, because he had to fend for and feed himself most of the time when it came to meals and B. Fayt is a student of a very prestigious science academy. He likely took courses in various sciences alongside his major in Symbological Genetics, and that's probably where his skills with engineering come from (Which is seen as extremely advanced on Elicoor because of the civilization level, but probably amounts to honest to goodness SD 772 university robotics shop). Fayt's extremely smart and resourceful, in spite of his laziness, so I wouldn't put being capable of whipping up a hand held bomb solo beyond him. Compounding falls in that 'very good with sciences' bit, too.

Writing is something he's fairly decent at, but he also comes from a planet where the education level is likely far higher then Elicoor's And he's a university student who has probably written a lot of term papers and assignments. Alchemy and Synthesis can easily be linked to his education again: the theory that goes with Symbology was likely part of his studies.

What is and isn't possible

This is Asgard, so anything involving Symbology, enchanted texts and some of the more exotic/potentially magically imbued potions, alchemy and synthesis are out. Enchanted and magical/elemental weapons are also out.

Meanwhile, Smithery and general Compounding are definite possibilities and trades that are likely to thrive in Asgard. Engineering, to a point, would also be possible, if he got his hands on the right materials. Cooking is a possibility, as well. He'll be lacking in any equipment to analyze herbs/chemicals/materials, without his communicator, but being the kind of guy he is he'd probably substitute that with a book if he absolutely had to.
